Notes

We leverage the nav-list class for this element, and simplify the javascript to show/hide elements based on class-name. We assume a logged-out state, and adjust if the user is logged in.

Since all login forms and login links need a "back" input or query string argument set to window.location, we do this now in vanilla.js.

Depending on the type and number of links, you might need to override the nav-list css in places to correct for padding/border issues caused by the hiding of elements.
